Surveillance camera feeds, network telemetry, smart home event logs, and automation states are stored locally on your private, on-site Network Video Recorder (NVR) and local controllers. Smart Home TEK has zero access to your live or recorded camera streams, biometric data, or telemetry once handover is completed.
2. Information We Collect During Consultations
When you submit an assessment inquiry through our website, we collect only the necessary technical and contact data required to scope and engineer your installation:
- Contact Information: Name, email address, and phone number.
- Property Specifications: Approximate property square footage, number of stories, construction era, and desired services (Enterprise Networking, Security & Surveillance, Home Automation, AI Infrastructure).
- Site Documentation: Architectural blueprints, conduit schematics, or floor plans voluntarily shared for quotation purposes.
All architectural documents, wiring diagrams, and property blueprints shared with Smart Home TEK are treated as confidential commercial secrets and are stored in encrypted, access-restricted repositories.
3. Network Security & Remote Access Protocols
When remote maintenance or diagnostics are requested by the client, Smart Home TEK implements point-to-point WireGuard® VPN or client-hosted reverse proxy solutions. We do not use persistent backdoor credentials or third-party cloud bridges. Remote diagnostic access is time-limited, client-authorized, and fully audited.
4. Cookies & Analytics
Our website utilizes only essential functional cookies to manage secure session states and form submissions. We do not deploy third-party advertising tracking cookies or sell visitor behavioral profiles.
5. Data Retention & Your Rights
We retain consultation contact records only for as long as necessary to service your project warranty and ongoing system maintenance.
